Sri Durga Devi – Dasara Alankaram Day 8 | Kanakadurga Ammavaru 2026

A premium cinematic devotional illustration of Sri Durga Devi, representing the eighth day's Alankaram of Goddess Kanakadurga during Dasara Mahotsavam 2026 at Vijayawada. The goddess is seated majestically beside a powerful golden-brown lion beneath an intricately carved golden temple arch. She has a beautiful, serene and compassionate face and wears an elaborate jewel-studded golden crown, a richly embroidered red silk saree with green and golden borders, traditional gold jewellery and long white and pink floral garlands. Her multiple arms hold sacred objects including a golden trident, chakra, white conch, curved sword, pink lotus and bow, while one hand is raised in a blessing gesture. Her lion vahana has a magnificent golden mane, expressive eyes and a powerful, dignified appearance. A radiant golden halo illuminates the goddess. The foreground features glowing brass oil lamps, a decorated golden kalasha, colourful flower petals and traditional offerings. Carved stone pillars, hanging brass lamps and floral garlands surround the sacred setting. In the background, a warm sunset sky overlooks a river, illuminated bridge and distant hilltop temple. This is original devotional artwork inspired by traditional Durga Devi iconography, not a photograph of the Vijayawada temple idol.
