Sri Krishna Janmashtami (Gokulashtami)
Sri Krishna Janmashtami, or Gokulashtami, celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna. Telugu homes draw little footprints at the door, dress their children as Krishna, offer butter and atukulu, and villages and streets come alive with the Utti festival.
